b16 swap please help

im looking into putting my b16 out of the 96 del sol vtec i had into a d series del sol if i cant find one with a b16 already in it what all do i need. i have the motor trans, wiring harness, ecu, shift link basically everything. But the wiring harness was a pain in the ass to pull out of my old car so im thinging its going to be even more of a pain installing it just wandering if there is and easier way?

an easier way than what? not running a wiring harness?

If I am not mistaken, a b16 goes into a del sol with the stock harness

I think so. And axles, ecu, shift linkage, alternator and mounts. But don't quote me on that.

if it came out of a del sol it should go right in...i dont see why not......but like she said dont quote me

the only thing i can see you having an issue with is a del sol vtec (b16) has a knock sensor and its wired into the cabin side as well as the engine side. so youd have to run a wire from the shock tower plug to your ECU if you used the usdm p30 ecu.

aside from that, i dont see any issues with the swap at all. should be fairly easy.

dont forget that u have to use the b16 t-bracket. and do some research, because they might share the same underdash harness as the b16 sols. if that makes sense

a B16 bracket? the t-brackets on all 94+ B series are the same.

whats the under dash harness have to do with an engine swap?
