oil and antifreeze....

*b20 vtec with a sandwich plate for oil line mated to an ls trans.

I was driving and I smelled antifreeze and a little steam come into the car. I pulled over immediately....car didn't run hot or anything. I sat on the side of the road and let the car sit for a while then I rolled it back to look at the puddle.....which was mostly oil. All my hoses are intact and the car still starts and runs like it did before.......any ideas??

**sucks this had to happen a week before my swap.

Can you see any visible leaks? Did you check your oil levels?

oil level are good, no milk or anything.....im gonna pull the intake manifold off and take a look, i cant see around it

there were afew bubbles on the dipstick....and it made a weird knock type noise wen i backed it off the trailer.......i figure (hope) oil is diluted

Have you really looked to see a leak? Drained the oil to see what comes out? That's what I would do first. How was the coolant level.

yep drained oil n there a little antifreeze in it.....drained coolant n there wasnt very much. puling motor now since i was supposed to swap into my hatch initially....i keep gettin headgasket from everyone which i guess makes sense...u have ls/vtec so you may have a good idea..?

If there is mixing of oil and coolant 9 times out of 10 its head gasket. Another option is a cracked engine block.....
