Building an all motor engine is a craft. It needs to be planned out and built all at the same time.

What are your goals? What will the car be used for? What engine?

First set goals, like how much money you have to spend and what you plan on doing with the car.

Next, gather as much information as possible before selecting anything.

After that, realize that all motor hondas are a waste of money (myself and Sharpie have both built them) and build something turbo or with more than 4 cylinders.

However if it were me, I'd build a K24A2 with some nice cams and ITB's. Prepare to spend a fuck ton.

sounds like you got lots and lots of research to do , or a PHAT checkbook to pay the shop that does the work.

You're in the wrong scene if you wants lots of low end torque. Hondas are meant to rev, not pull. Especially if you aren't going forced induction..

And you need to know what you're getting into. Sharpie and Phate are right, you'll spend a fuck ton. For the amount of money you'd spend on a K20, the swap, the mods, machine-shop work, rebuilding the engine once you break something important, and then tuning. You might as well just look into swapping a J32 into your car, buying something with an LS1 in it, or biting the bullet and going for a turbo-setup.
