Ceramic Coating a Header....??

My previous turbo manifold was ceramic coated by HP Powdercoating. I can't say for sure if it actually helped with engine bay temperature, but I did run my wastegate vacuum line pretty close to the manifold and never had any issues. After letting the car sit through winter time, the manifold did start to develop surface rust.

hahaha I meant to have a header that is not ceramic coated already.... like for example; a skunk2 polished header that has had some use and looks a little rough... I meant more of a DIY type thing...because obviously if its too much I'd just buy a new header, does that make sense?

This isn't a DIY type of project unless you want to spend some money to do it the right way and plan on doing it again. HP Powdercoating charges $75 to ceramic coat the outside of a 4 cylinder exhaust manifold.
