i don't see what happened there fel pro's fault at all. looks like someone ran it hot...any head gasket will do that. i'm running a felpro hg on my boosted b16 thats seen 20psi with no issues.

never had any issues with the fel pros... and i like running them because they have a warrenty, so if you do blow them you just take it back and get a new one for free... i swapped like 5 of them when i had headlift issues on my turbo'd d16

I love when people blame the manufacture of a product when it was used beyond its operating specs.

i ran a felpro in my turbo d making over 265whp and drove that thing daily for over three years and never had a problem.

i use them for the same reason as what n2hifi said, they have a warranty. i also do not like the honda dealer by my house and go to oreillys for 95% of the stuff i need.

Sounds like user error to me.
“Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless - like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.” - Bruce Lee

all was good on the car untill he decided to "flush the coolant" and not bleed the air.. and im guessing had a air pocket and overheated it..
im saying air cuz he said after he drained the coolant he had idle surge and running hot.. his wire continued to drive it like this and this was the outcome
