so i pulled my motor to rebuild it and i am having a hard time getting the crank out. its on an engine stand. i have the heads off and oil pan off. it is basicly a bare block asside from the crank and pistions. i pulled the cover bolts and broke it loose from the block but it stops on the crank gear

did you take off the front main seal?

you have to pull up the crank evenly on each side when you pull it
