can anyone give me the specs on the b18a1 motor

i need to know as much information that anyone can offer me about the b18a1 motor mainly how hard the parts are to find for it
parts like:
5spd trans
ecu
fuel rail
axles
alternator
motor mounts
trans mounts
clutch
and harness
other then that i need to know if im gana have to change anything in my engine bay to put it in a 1997 civic ex 2dr coupe

Parts for a b18a are very easy to find. As for the swap, it won't be hard, but it is illegal if the inspector knows what they are looking at.

Dropping a b into a civic is not hard just google it.

Also you would have to convert it to obd2 to be able to smog it in stl. Your best bet would be to get a b18b that is already obd2

so would a junkyard have most of the parts and would i need to get new tie rods front disc breaks etc

a junk yard could have the parts but no way to be sure except to go walk the yards.

speedway has a few da integras with b18a1's in them i think 3 to be exact

90-91 b18a1 130hp
92-93 b18a1 140hp
torque is pretty much the same

Yea id go with the B1 im about to do the swap it straight forward just the norm for a b swap mounts and shiz but wiring is easy for the ex just extend the 02 censor and do some wire conversion on the aicv, dizzy plug swap and im prity sure thats it. And you can go with the 94-01 5 speed obd-2 ecu to keep it easy.
