if you have that kinda money, why not go with a type-r?
once you swap over to b-series, you gonna have to do some changes

basically to put a b series in your car you would have get new mounts, shift linkage, axles, and an ecu. i would personally go with a gsr or ls/b20 if it was me
i may not be "logical" but at least i can change my oil...

not to mentionn the labor cost, b20z mated to a gsr transmition would be a good starting point, you can always upgrade the head later on after you do your research.HardCore97;264478 wrote:basically to put a b series in your car you would have get new mounts, shift linkage, axles, and an ecu. i would personally go with a gsr or ls/b20 if it was me

If you don't know much about cars then trying to do an engine swap is the wrong place to start. Save yourself a lot of time and money by learning how to go about modding your car the right way the first time.crimsoncivic;264591 wrote:idk much bout cars unfortunately so i wouldnt know where to begin on a swap but i mean i have mechanics thatll do it for free for me i just need a cherry picker and after id just take it to lowe for a dyno and wat will the head do lol like i said no car knowledge

Who takes their cars to a shop anymore for repairs?
If you don't know what to do, research and research and research. Ask to hang out with people on here that are doing a swap and learn.
As for the Type R engine swap... if you have the money go for it. Otherwise do more research and build a setup that will actually make more power that a Type R for less. If you want power, maybe look into doing a Turbo D series. If you want fun and peppy and an engine that will fill your engine bay like a "B series, then just go for an LS swap or a B16 swap if you want the VTEC.
There are TONS of options and routes to go with an empty engine bay. It all depends on what YOU want and what your goals are.
