are these vaccum controlled or are they ecu controlled. i been all over and cant find anything....

See Waffles link, its a combination of both. Vac actuated, ecu control.

i didnt think to try images.....i was looki n for links. well i guess im gonna look for links to the specs for my engine and when it engages.

looks like the basic answer is no on the p28.

You might be able to wire up a RPM switch and then just tune for it to open at a set RPM.
