ebay parts yay or nay?

i see alot of performance parts on ebay but are they really worth it? buying an after market header for like 40 dollars, including shipping?

Well you get what you pay for.

Will the header work: yes.
Will the welds be nice: no
Will it rust in a month: yes
Will it increase your WHP: Most likely not

I would not say to stay away from ebay, just know what you are buying.

i got a short throw shifter for my prelude from ebay last year. havent had a problem with it and it was cheaper than buying from a name brand company, has a shorter throw, was easy to install, and has not degraded in quality.

i have an ebay header, like zach said though quality is nto the greatest, but it hasnt rusted or anything yet. probably didnt do too much power wise either. you just have to research what your looking for and see what you can find out about it.

so you didnt notice any gains in hp? like at all? and how did it fit? did it fit good? or did you have to mod it at all

Even with the best header you are only going to see a few HP gain(1-5). You wont feel a 5hp gain, it will all be in your head.

it fit alright i guess, its a two peice and the gaskets they sent with it were junk
