Looking for a Good intake

Post by HondaChild »

I'm looking to get a Real intake after years of having my crappy one on the car. My car for those who dont know is a 96 Civic with a B16 swap. I want some opinions/ reviews of some intke systems.

You want to make power or look cool?

Most guys just run a 3" intake tube and a velocity stack.

Or, if you want it to look cool get a whale dong.

I'm leaning a lot more towards Function with my car so beauty isn't really a concern. Should I just make one I already have a 3" intake tube with filter. Where should I get a velocity stack? or buy a whole setup?

The 3" intake tube you have now will work just fine. BPI makes a really nice velocity stack with a filter to match. In the future if you're willing to spend the time and money, experiment with different lengths of piping and locations of the velocity stack while on the dyno to see what's going to give you the best gain.
