best d series block and head

what is the best stock d series block and head combo? as far as power ratings go.

I agree with the z6/z6 combo.

I will be running a y8 bottom, but would have really preferred the z6.

well ive already got that. mine needs a rebuild though... so i was debating on doing something different but i guess i wont.

Using a Y8 head will offer a slight increase in comperssion ratio and an even slighter increase in power compared to the Z6 head. But as other's said the Z6/Z6 is really the best way to go in the long run.

I have a D16A6 with a Y8 head, and it has pretty good power, and runs great together.
