in oct, nov me and my buddies are going to rebuild my b20a 2.0 dohc motor and im not sure what i want to do to it. im going to drop close $1,500 in to just the motor alone and then maybe $1,000 on the trans. im open for all kinds of ideas, my buddy mike is thinkn bout 550hp naturally aspirated, and my friend jerry wants me to turbo it, but im not sure on what i want to do with it just yet but i have a few weeks to figure it out. so you got some ideas let me know whats up

Good luck. But you won't reach that power goal with $1,500, if it's boosted or not.

it will be very hard to make that kind of power on a honda motor at the cost. For 1500 you can build one hell of a motor, but i would do is do some research, see what actually can be done for the price.

EDIT: Honestly I would go turbo since you have one of the few honda closed deck blocks.

This thread IS coming from someone that had a tripple turbocharged supra or whatever car it was. And a skyline that the motor was locked up and welded to be legal for shipping to the US but then again he drove it with his grandpa. Also twisted affection kinda sounds like you like dudes. Just sayin. I cant believe I ever put that banner on my car.
