under drive pullys good or bad

I have a b16a with an under drive crank pully and under drive alt. My buddy said that's bad for the engine well the only way I can see it hurting it is if its not balanced right.

there is no dampners for the harmonics of a engine = bye bye to oil pump.

not worth it...why does anyone have to have one is what i want to know.

My b16 had it on it when I bought it so I should put the stock crank pully on it. Should I replace the oil pump before I install it?
