having viberation problems with my teg
my 2000 ls has a bad viberation under acceleration only. ive replaced all the motor mounts and both axles. axles came from autozone. but the viberation is still the same. can anyone help me out with some advice on what may be causing it? its really weird cuz in cold weather its worse and when its warm out its not as bad but its still very noticable

Its most likely your axles. Autozone axles suck for that problem.....and going bad after 5 thousand miles. I know......I've had to replace mine under warranty 7 times. This last time.... they made it through a whole oil change....then crapped out again. I dont race my car or run it hard, all highway. Three of the seven sets have caused my car to violently vibrate on acceleration. I would suggest swapping them out

Indeed. You'd be surprised how many of the axles autozone and other auto parts stores supply/rebuild are plain crap.g3integragsr;225827 wrote:Its most likely your axles. My friend got 3 straight bad axles from O'Reillys for his Jetta. 2 were bad right out of the box! Definitely check them out.

never had an issue with orily HONDA axles. other than breaking them(not due to manufacture defect). get the new ones and you will be fine

Everyone has this problem with non-OEM halfshafts on Jetta/Golfs. I got lucky with one from Advance for my Jetta.Bwill9886;225848 wrote:My friend got 3 straight bad axles from O'Reillys for his Jetta. 2 were bad right out of the box! Definitely check them out.
I never had a problem with AutoZone axles on any of my Hondas, but I wouldn't rule that out. They ALL have issues from time to time.
