im already running 9.2:1 so spending 600bucks on new pistons to drop the compression that little bit isnt cost effective on my side. i could,as you siad mess with the head to drop the compression a tad.
Thats why I put the "@" symbol in front of the 9.0:1 close enough.

b18b
255 pump
660cc injectors
rods
LS head
stock cams/gears
BC valves springs,retainers
water/meth kit
garrett 35r turbo
cast iron turbo manifold (ram horn when i get it finished)
new 3" charge pipe turbo-intake
yes, that does help. but you're leaving out the part where the block gets sleeved...

I also would not want 450-500 on 660cc injectors.....unless you are running a high base pressure.
you're right on the displacement...i was having a brain function failure when I typed that. And yes, those injectors are way too small for that HP level.

There are 2 guys down here that built 2L B's making over 500whp...if you look you'll find one of them is a member of this board still.

Wait......are you doing this on stock pistons?

You don't change pistons because of compression (at least not in this case).

You change pistons because your stock cast pistons will crack ringlands at the slightest hint of detonation at higher power levels.
