What exhaust is loud and whats not

Hey guys i was wondering about an exhaust system for my 1990 hatch, thats getting a b16 swap into. I was just wondering what exhaust are out there that are good stuff and by the way i do want from the header back, but arent to loud. I do know a lot of exhaust come with silencers but how quiet or loud will they be?? I dont like loud, a nice lil rumble is nice but nothing you can hear a mile away. What you think???

my b18 i had 4-2 header, stock cat that had the ends opened up to 2.25'', and two 18'' 2.25'' opening resonators... it was pretty quiet and had a great sound...

i have a vid with sound but with a high flow cat and Meagan header, its louder than it was but may give you a decent idea of sound...

Typically a safe rule of thumb, is that the oval canisters have a sofer, more quiet tone. The can style, and N1s are usually louder and can be raspy.

The APEXi WS2 is a great system, thats what I run on my TL-S, and prolly what I will put on the Integra as well.

from experience:

Apexi WS II- hella quiet, didnt like it
Tanabe Concept G- Loved the tone but droned at times and got rid of it
Spoon N1- my favorite exhaust, can be loud/quiet depends on your set up
Buddy Club Spec II- Loud. lol
Mugen twin Loop- Quiet, but has a good tone most of the time, needs a test pipe..
