I don't own a Honda anymore. That's from last year. I ran 14.5psi on a rods/pistons motor. It was only street tuned so no dyno numbers.

I ran 9psi on my stock B16 and i was making roughly 275 whp and 215 ft/lbs... nothing amazing, but it was fun
I'm still a neighborhood ASSHOLE!

I never said b16's were a waste (well, ok... I have.... many times... just not in this thread) I said it will never have 'big balls'; I stand by that statement. For what it is, it can make a very fun corner carver. I have had a few b16/EF's and they were fun cars, but never fast.

If you are asking about 1/4 mile times and dyno numbers, the b16 isn't the motor you want. The b16 is more of a motor for people that care more about suspension setups and overall car balance, not all out power.

if your wanting to have fun throwing new parts on your car and are planning on going turbo...go with a new intake manifold that breaths better, could get a larger throttle body, never a bad thing to go ahead and do all your fuel system ahead of time, get your valve cover tapped, could always get some shiny cam gears for dress..just make sure you always remember what you are wanting for a final result and get parts accordingly....

one issue i am having to fix now is all my charge pipe, whoever built them sucked balls really bad and is a lousy .25-.50 inches to short to all fit nice and neat and like to fall apart under boost. anything like this that you can address before the project is done will help you in the long run. less headaches more vroom vroom!!

Oh sorry I did forget to mention I have a 68mm throttle body and new cam gears and belt, cheap intake and exhaust, thats about it, and if the b16 can make 250hp with the turbo ill be more than happy

By the way I forgot to mention this is and will be my dd thats kind of why I wanted to go with a b16 is too keep my A/C. Though I have heard recently that you can keep your a/c with a b18, is that true bc i have only heard no ac can fit in a b18

uh.... its nearly the same motor? the difference is 8mm in deck height.... you'd be just fine with AC on a b18.

Bigger throttle body and intake manifold won't help you make any power on a stock internalled motor, so don't waste your money there.

No need on cam gears either.. just a waste of money that could be put towards his turbo kit.

now if he were buidling the b16, then yes all the above parts would help out a lot.

Also he can't really go all out on putting his fuel system on without getting a tune for the injectors, so you might as well wait on the injectors too.
