new header. will it bolt to stock?

i just bought a header and i havent ettempted to put it on yet. its because my buddy told me its better to let an exhaust shop put it on. the reason being is he thinks that since im going from a 2.5in pipe into a stock catylic converter, they will have to cut the flange or somethin so it can match up. is this correct? or should it just bolt up?

If the header has a JDM 2.5in. collector, it will not bolt to your stock USDM cat.

its the very end of the header where it bolts to the cat its where all the single tubes come together

im sure. i asked because on some cars, parts can be used from one certain car and used on a different one. i didnt know if the prelude has the same setup as my car.

Just take it to mad hatters on beltline or something. They work pretty cheap usually and have always done good work for my friends.

What brand is this header btw?

Haha, yea they do! Though they will usually work with you if you can't get a hold of some sticky-icky...
