My heat is not hot enough
Any suggestions on what I can do to make my heat hotter in my 94 civic? It will blow itself cold anything over 2 on the fan settings.

strap a bird/homeless guy/shoes/cardboard/etc. to half of your radiator.
Mine would never blow itself cold, but it would always not be near as hot as it would in 50*+ weather.

Take your radiator cap off before you start your car, put your heat on full blast and turn your car on. Let it get to operating temptures and let all the air bubbles work there way out. You will need to go buy a gallon of antifreeze. While doing this give it a steady 1500-2000rpm peddle for a few mins to work more of the bubbles out (some fluid will come out since cap is off, thats okay) put more antifreeze in as needed, untill all air bubbles are out.
This should help your heat on your car. If not, then could be your thermostate getting stuck closed or not opening and closing like it should. If so, not a big deal go buy another one from parts store there cheap and real easy to replace.
Do that and then flush your radiator out and fill it up and you should be good.
Hope that helps.

I already blead the system, that was my first thought. I checked my radiator hoses and they are both hot so I dont think its an issue of t-stat(but thats not a 100% test). I will try grabbing a local homeless guy and paying him to hold on th my radiator and see if that helps.

thats odd both would be normal and not both hot or at least one hot...but i would guess you need a new heater core.

check the mix cable, make sure its working, and make sure the valve for the heater core is indeed open.
