And your parts list... Almost all of that can be had from your wrecked GSR.
well i really want to learn to do a swap myself. so ill just learn from my mistakes even if it takes longer to do the swap. and ya i guess ill be getting everything off my gsr. thanks for the info

ive shipped a motor before...not a big deal, never had any problems, it wasnt exactly cheap but it all worked out just fine
if you need parts lmk, im running a b18c/jdm spec R swap in the del slo...im sure ive got plenty of spare parts laying around...mounts, fuel rail, intake etc' but im sure nearly all of that is either on your gsr or comes with the swap..its a pretty simple swap..just like any other b series...
thanks a lot. ill let u know if i need anything and yes. im going to definitely run a compression test before buying it.

Why would you not just swap the GSR engine in. You'll have everything you'd need and it be a hell of alot cheaper.

Unless you are selling it to him for the same price or more than you buy the ITR for, you are getting ripped off. Your engine is a guaranteed 100% running motor. you know this because YOU have driven it. It sounds like this ITR swap you are wanting to buy is only a partial swap, and you will need to spend a few hundred bucks to complete it... and then you still dont know what kind of shape it is really in because you have never driven it. and you have to try to assemble it all without any experience. Pulling the full swap from your GSR and dropping it into the civic will be a 1 day job and you know it will run when you are done as long as you swap it correctly. With that ITR, if it doesn't run you are left wondering if it is a part missing, a bad motor, or an error in your swap process. Not exactly the feeling of satisfaction you are looking for at the end of your first BIG project like this.
I know that you promised it to a friend.... just tell him that the motor you were looking at fell through and you need to keep the gsr. Nothing wrong with keeping your own stuff. Plus, the money you save on this deal can help fund a few upgrade parts that you may want for the car.
This post comes with a guarantee: I guarantee that I don't care what you think about it.
