The D16Z6 is an easy swap for the '92-'95 Civic DX/CX/VX. The motor will bolt right in using the D16Z6 mounts. The D16Z6 distributor and ECU are required for it to run right. As for wiring, we need to know what model your friend has. DX, CX or VX?

none of the eg hatches weighed anywhere near 3270. if its an SI it will have a sunroof and rear disc like others have said. SI's came with the d16z6 from the factoryonecam12sec;208854 wrote:look at the weight in driverside door. it should be like 3270 for si. also power sunroof. if not ,unless it's a vx(no side moldings or ps, and tach redline 6500), you will need to run wire for vtech, if not already done.
i may not be "logical" but at least i can change my oil...
