Integra Operating temp

Post by 02Type-S »

So the teg at idle, will stay right below the middle of the gauge, but once I start driving, it cools down to almost all the way cold. Then I park it, and I can watch the temp gauge go back to normal temp.

Is this normal?

Yeah, it does the opposite of overheating lol. Is it dangerous to run at such a cold temp all the time? I would think it would be.

my white crx would do this in the winter too... after not being able to figure it out, I just blocked the front of half of the fullsize radiator (the header side, not the fan side) for the winter and it ran perfectly and stayed at op temp.
