help figure out whats wrong with my damn car
Dont know if it will help or not but the last car I had that did jerking and stuff was a fuel filter problem, I replaced it and the problem went away. Fuel filter was nasty. But might have just been an isolated problem cause I know people go without changing fuel filters for a long long time.

Did you put the correct O2 sensor in? What brand and model number did you put in? Instead of driving it around and the CEL to go off, just pull the battery and reset the ECU yourself.HardCore97;205018 wrote:this o2 sensor isnt more than 6 months old

yes(unless oreilly gave me the wrong one but i dont see why that would matter as long its a 4 wire o2 sensor). i have tried resetting it it keeps coming back.

I just replaced one for a guy that he had put in one month earlier... If there is an exhaust leak in front of the sensor, they can go out pretty fast.

Trust me, it matters. What was the model number of that O2 sensor? The sensor in my Hx failed. It was replaced with one that goes on an LX/DX. The CEL went off, but the engine kept surging.HardCore97;205033 wrote:yes(unless oreilly gave me the wrong one but i dont see why that would matter as long its a 4 wire o2 sensor). i have tried resetting it it keeps coming back.

to my knowledge there is no leak in front of it. it was throwing 4 codes, MAP, TPS, CYP and o2 heater. i just swapped on a different dizzy to hopefully fix the CYP, swapped on a different MAP so im about to go back outside and hook the it all back up and start it to see what codes its throwing now
