What should i do?Civic performance
Hi im new to the civics i dont know what i should do as far as performance. i've really been doing alot of research and it doesnt look like its werth the money to build my d16z6 so i look at engines and i can get a 3.0 for half the price of a b16 and i really liked the numbers the jseries are putting out. But i dont know the first thing about doing the swap. Are these swaps pretty easy?Has anybody done a jseries swap?Or should i just stick with a bseries swap because i here the b16 are a direct bolt in. Any feedback would be great thanks guys.

Do research on both swaps and see if they're what you want and fit your budget. Searching Google and Honda-Tech will help you a ton.

first question you should ask yourself.......
what are your goals? want a 500whp monster? or do you just want more pep so you can beat your friends srt4?
next question???
how much money do you have and are willing to spend?
turbo d's can outrun srt4's and can cost $1000 or less. if youre wanting a 700+whp monster, go a lot bigger engine and spend the $9000

I know you don't want to run "naawwwzzz"..... that's why I suggested other Nitrous Oxide kits that you may consider to get your motor into that time range. but really, if you want my real advice.... keep the civic stock, daily drive it, and buy a project car that can go faster for cheaper.
