sleeves?

hey i want to build a new engine and make roughly 300 to 350 hp and i till need it to be reliable. its going to be bored 40 over and i want to know if sleeving the block will be my best bet or just a block guard

you need to tell us alot more than that, boosting i assume? what motor?

ill go ahead and say sleeve it... but the fact that you asked leads me to believe you have a loooooooot of research and learning to do before you start this project

yeah its going to be a b18b with b16a head im hoping and yes definatly turbo. ive read a little about the sleeves but some people were saying they could move? and thats why i asked. definatly going to be more research just looking for an opinion

with your power goal, no you dont need to, but do alot more research definitely

do u have any clue what 40 over means? if u are trying to do that to stock sleeves then u definately need to research.

yeah i know what it means and if they make pistons for .40 why cant you do it?
