Bad starter or fuck up on my end? Also to narrow it down where its supposed to go it does it but on the other post on starter it doesnt do it but when i try and sit in and start it i t just goes clunk like its seized.. but its connected just like when i took the old one off and it just spins. ugh im lost and this has taken wayyy longer than ever. anyone? bad starter>? bad motor?

sounds like your signal wire is supplying power all the time when it is supposed to only supply power when you turn the key into the start position.

first thing i would do is hook up a voltmeter up to the signal wire and see if it is getting constant voltage.

if its constantly getting supplied power that is not your starters fault. if the bendix is not hitting the flywheel but just spinning that is your starters fault.
