B16a help needed

When cruising at 2,000rpm car loses power till I gas on it a little bit. Then goes for a while then does it again. Sometimes won't run out past 5,500 in first. Any help is appreciated. Any info you need to help figure it out just ask.

No CEL. I didn't do the build. I bought it from Chunney and he bought it from Spork who did the swap as far as I've been told. As far as I know it has the b16a with ITR cams and an LS tranny. I really don't know much about b series motors since all of my hondas thus far have been d's.

could be an igniter going bad, had a similar problem with my B18a, till it went out completly...

It's been like that since I got it. I believe it's the ignitor in the dizzy but it was never a big enough problem for me to replace it as it rarely happened. When the car is shut off and turned back on it goes away completely or atleast it did for me. Twice since i've owned it I've had CEL's for the distributor too but they went away after started it. Whenever the CEL's came on the ECU would throw the car into dummy mode and it wouldn't rev past 4k. Since it only happened twice in a year and a half or so I just ignored it.

Yeah I just wanted to make sure it didn't do it when I need it. Like whenever civic4life finally wants to run me haha.

I never had a problem with it at the track but I only took it there once.

Yeah I'll just make sure it's warmed up real good. Didn't have any problems when I've ran people so far.
