im currently gathering parts at the moment to turbo my civic... im undecided on which bov i want to use. im thinking about the tial q, but im not 100% sure about the spring pressure. its my question below that has me double thinking. currently my vacuum is at -21 in. hg.
when i turbo my motor, will the turbo or lower compression piston have an effect on my idle vacuum?
any help is appreciated.
tial bov question!

tial bov question!
generally speaking no but every engine is different.
just use the pink spring. if for some unlikely reason its too much spring pressure then you can always cut a little off the spring. i have cut them to were the valve is just a hair open at idle.

tial bov question!
through the different threads i've found, cutting the spring has been pretty common. i think it was a buick gn forum. the guy just bought the highest spring and cut a 1/4 of a coil out till it worked right.
thanks for the help mike.
