Not for sure how much a decent header runs. I don't need anything tooo outrageous, but something that will help out a little.
here you go

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MEGAN-RA ... 0305569186

$175 shipped for a megan racing header.... (about 100 times better than a pacesetter) and saves you money.

yup and does the job just fine and quality is good. no point in buying a more expensive header for a stock engine unless you just want to pay more for the name. they all do the same thing.

Also, Greddy said theirs will fit the usdm, yet not the jdm model..
I have a greddy header on my jdm h22 right now. The only diff between h22 headers are the 5th gen sh ones. That is all. To tell you the truth no header under 800 bucks makes any kind of power on a h22.

are there flow bench test results out there for various headers vs the stock manifold, or even a stock ported manifold?

even on a stock motor the rmf, smsp, hy tech, and other custom headers made more power then the crappy dc, greddy, and ebay headers.

As for a flow bench test I dont think so. But as for h22's after market headers dont make power unless they are a custom built one(see the names above) yeah the lower priced headers make power (1 to 2whp) there more of a show piece that goes for the mugen one also its just an over priced dc-sport header imo. Now with a h23 anything is better then stock.

Her budget is $300, not $800. Anything in the $300 range will do the same thing, just like Mike said. Now stop bumping dead threads.
