GSR idle at 3500

so i finally got my car running but now it idles at 3500!!!! I do know i have a vaccum leak because i can cover the TB and it still runs and the idle goes way down. Any ideas?

check ur tb gasket check ur intake gasket get some carb cleaner and sprat around these areas if the engine dies down where u spray is ur leak holmes

Check to see if the throttle is sticking open. It can do that if the throttle cable is too tight.

Leak in the gasket around the TB, intake manifold, or IACV?

no leak i tried with some carb cleaner. i unpluged the tps and the idle dropped to 2000??? wtf is going on.

is the brake booster line hooked up?

did u spray it around ur tb then around ur iacv then around all vac lines and around the intake
