lsvtec throttle cable

Post by DC_T »

i have a ls block, b16a head, gsr throttle body, and AEBS intake manifold in a 93 civic hatchback. i was running a 92 integra ls throttle cable with a custom bracket (meaning i just used an ls bracked and drilled my own hole to make it fit), but now that i have the motor out and re-doing the bay i'd like to get the right throttle cable/bracket setup. i can't seem to get a straight answer on this. i've heard so far itr cable w/ itr bracket, or 99-00 civic si cable and bracket or even my stock civic cable. if anybody can help set me straight here that would be great. thanks

Only catch here is this: If you wish to use the B16/ITR cable/bracket, you need to make sure the GSR TB is set up for that. Otherwise, if you have not changed the bell crank on the TB, you have to run the GSR cable and bracket. You can use the bell crank from any other TB that hooks up the same way.
