swapping motors
so i threw a rod in my 90 LS and am putting in a new motor. taking out b18a1 and replacing it with a b18b1. i know i need to swap out tranny's and axles and thermostat housing. i am using the intake manifold from the a1 along with the dizzy as well. but the main question for me posting this. do i need to swap the clutch as well? or can i just use the one that in already on the motor(b18b1). both clutchs are good and have plenty of life left in them.

Always match the clutch with the transmission. So if you're using an A1 transmission, use an A1 clutch.

actually, it only matters if the a1 is a 90-91... if it is a 92-93, you can use either clutch since they are the same.
