Thread patterns are different and the oil filter stud is larger.

so it will fit b and d series motors too? well i havent ever heard any one else posting this up on any other forms before so i was just letting other people that may not have known about it.

There was a 10 page thread discussing oil filters a few months ago that covered this subject. Most Nissans, Mazda, Hyundai/Kias, etc. use the same thread pitch for their oil filters. Note that I said most, not all.
