and for the people that have bought a motor swap have you ever had problems with the motor? or ever second guessed how many miles they say are on the motor?

i bought a tranny from tiger a WHILE ago. it worked out fine

A buddy of mine ordered a ZC from tiger. Came with NO paint on the VC and covered in what looked like bird shit. Ran great for about 4 months then the rings gave out and started smokin like a bitch. =/

Edit: I talked to him today and he reminded me that there was stagnant water in the plugs and that he's for sure the engine had been kept outside for quite some time.

Cheap motor but still, I would be pissed if I ordered a motor with "30-60k" miles and it was obvious it had well over 100k. Heres what it looks like after he got it in... few months later he has to take it right back out. fuck tiger.
