Cylinder head block?

You will be fine. Etiher copper spray it like mike said. Or use aviation sealant. Both available from autozone.

I would actually apply that to the original gasket on both sides?

I am new to actually modding cars, so I have never installed a header before. There is a first time for everything.

yea just a little bit on both sides of the gasket and you will have no worries of leaks. i just do this sometimes on used exhaust gaskets.

WRONG. This advice is about as good as the camber kit advice you gave.

Use your OEM gasket, the gaskets that come with cheaper parts like this are junk. (nothin wrong with the header, I'm not about to dump $1,000+ on Comptechs either)

If you want to risk leaks, use the one that came with it.

no its not wrong douche. i said they come with cheap gaskets, but YES they do work. but i also suggested just reusing the stock gasket if you read the thread. jump off the bandwagon.

IMO i would just go to the dealer and pick up a new OEM gasket just in case. Exhaust manifold gaskets do stick and what not, so it wouldnt hurt to have a back up. And you do realize that if anything goes wrong with your motor and can be linked to this header your warranty is gone.
