thanks everyone.

Bad starter solenoid. After doing alot of work on one leg. I remember someone telling me to hit the starter with a broomstick! and yes it started right up.

Now lets see what was draning my battery, or if it was even draining. :bouncy:

k well my integra doesn't start right. Still...

It still has a delay maybe 6 seconds after holding the key the starter sometimes kicks on, and battery seems to still not have full power after the car has sat for a hour or two.

Here is what I have done.

New optima Yellowtop Battery, New Battery terminals.

I have checked the battery to ground, the fuse box connections, the tranny to ground, and the engine to ground. Cleaned them including sand paper.

I have tried 3 starters, finally pulled one off my other integra and put it in, it started up the first time. I thought it was fixed.

Then It seems my battery kept dying.

I unhooked my stereo.

I purchased a new 130 AMP HO alternator, installed it.

I drove it around alot the past few days with minimal power usage.

Battery still seems dead after an hour. Car seems to still not start unless it is jumped. Rarely can I get it to start by itself. I do hear a loud click about 80% of my key turns. then it clicks again when I let the key off.

I really need some help, this is really pissing me off. I have to jump my car or pop start it EVERY TIME. lol. any ideas? I'm just hopeing it's something simple that I may have missed.

Thats what I was going to suggest. A bad ign switch could cause these issues.

soo, i thought I had fixed this mystery problem.

since what i stated before, i changed main relay, and changed iginiton switch thought I had fixed it.

turns out it fixed it for maybe a week or so.

I then inspected more under by the ignition switch, found that the ignition switch plug has come loose or something, well i plugged it back in and it works like new yet again... for another week...

then im guessing it may come loose or something I'm not sure really whats going on, but I still get the effects of a draining battery, or bad ignition switch when there is no drainage and i've replaced everything.

sometimes i can unplug the iginition switch and plug it back in, and then it works good for a day or so,

think maybe the plug on the wire harness is at fault? any other ideas?

I was gonna go ahead and change the interior fuse box. maybe something could be bad on it?

its almost as if there is just not good enough of a connection between the top plug above the fuse box, and of top plug of the ignition switch, like when I jump the car, maybe that gives it enough juice to give some power to it, and starts the car.

because jumping it works everytime.
