Torque Wrench

Post by MaSSaCrE »

I was in process working on the car and taking off the head on my h23 motor and this guy told me that I do not need to have a torque wrench to take out the studs is this right or wrong because if I dont then im just a pussy and dont have the might to get them loose or im doing something wrong.I can get a torque wrench I just would rather not drive down the street and get it,

Nobody needs to be a dick im 16 wah wah dont wanna hear it just tell me if I need it or not thanks.

Use a breaker bar, you dont need a torque wrench to take them OFF but to put them on yes.

why would he say you need a torque wrench to take bolts out lol. i always just use a reg 1/2 drive wratchet and socket to break things loose and then get out the torque wrench when its time to put things back together

If you can an air impact would make your job alot easier. If not go with a breaker bar
