Can You Put A Blow Off Valve On A Supercharger

I Was Wondering If Its Possible To Put A Blow Off Valve On A Supercharger. I Was Thinkin About Doing This With A Jackson Racing Belt Driven Supercharger On A D16. Thanks

You cant do it on a JR supercharger. If you were running a procharged(or similar) setup you can. But wont boost on a honda to really be needed because you wont be running enough boost to need it.

Not so much that, but if its like the Comptech blower on the TLs, the BOV is supposed to be installed before TB, so you won't get any sound (if any) by installing a BOV because it's post-throttle. Also, if the SC's bypass is intact, the BOV would never even get the signal to open up since both sides would maintain the same amount of pressure.

There is some kind of blow off?/ waste gate on the back of the supercharger.

when you let off the throttle it opens. when on the gas it closes. It doesnt make much noise or anything but its there, and functions.

you can only put a BOV on a Centrifical Supercharger, like a comptech, vortech, etc.... this is because it acts as a turbo and uses an intercooler but is also belt driven and not connected to your exhaust manifold. so no, its impossible to make a Roots type supercharger Blow off. only centrifical ones

Nether a turbo or a SC require a intercooler.

not technically, but if you plan on running more than 5lbs of boost you better get on or else KABOOM!!!!!! hahahah its not really a smart idea not to use one.
