I Can Has Blown Head Gasket: Whoops

ok well .... due to some "cough cough" "technical" difficulties i managed to smoke/destroy/blow out/utterly demise/wrath of god my head gasket on the hatch. Basically i beat the shit out of the car while playing with base maps and apparently the head gasket i have beat the shit out of for the past year since i put the motor together did not like it and well let go.

here is the end result after pulling the head today: lets say its VERY obvious where it let go at lol



head side .. everything is all okey dokie over here just needs a little clean up



no picture of the block side but it's fine just a little oil and anti-freeze mixture

motor looks great and everything looks fine to the eye .. plugs were normal color, car would still start up and run just fine but under 9psi it would start to blow smoke. Putting a new one on tomorrow and the car will be back up ad tuned for next tuesday for some TnT at gateway

and i agree with the timing map being off a bit .. going to pull some timing out when i put it back together tonight
