With a good pcv it dies every stop sign
Allright i thought my pcv was clogged and I had to order a new one. So for the time being i just drilled mine out it made it idle weird and it stumbled sometimes but it didnt die when i put the clutch in. Today i went and picked up my new pcv and put it on. Now every time i drive and come to a stop and push the clutch in it dies. I can start it back up and it will idle fine and drive fine but it does the same thing every stop... Im thinking Iac but not sure help please.!!!! Iv double and triple checked all vacume lines Im pretty sure its a sensor. :nervous:

get rid of the pcv and cap off the vacuum nipple on the intake manifold.

It wont run without it i tried that. Kind of a stupid question but since the cometic headgasket dropped my compression from 11:1 to 9:1 could that make my car act weird?

yes it will. cap the intake and just put a breather on there. 11 to 9, yea its going to have alot less power. or unless you put the timing chain on off a tooth.

No i timed it perfectly all marks lined up great no problems. This means that I have a different problem the reason i say this it started doing this at the last MM before I swapped gaskets and i didnt run that night. When I was leaving in the stop and go traffic I would stumble off take off. I tried capping that off yesterday I started it and it idled fine. Then If i would raise the rpm's up to like 5 and push the clutch in it wouldnt catch itself and it would just die. Im not saying your wrong im just telling you what my car is doing. Is there any other reason or sensor that would cause this. Thank you And also my car technicaly is running more lean because of when I lowered the compression I spaced the head just a little bit more then the oem headgasket. So my computer is throwing the same a mount of fuel into a bigger space. Could this cause a problem?.....
