Did you ever check Honda-Tech?

A y5 head SHOULD be able to mate up... doesn't seem like a good swap, but it should be able to be done.

yea i checked there but i couldn't find anything on that, i just found a good deal on a z6 block and i have a bad y5 engine, well bottom end atleast, and i just wanted to get it back on the road since its damn near impossible to find a cheap enough y5 replacement engine.

The D16Y5 is just a Y7 / Y8 block, it should be a direct bolt on.

The Y8 will result in the same displacement, and approx the same compression, while the Y7 will give the exact same compression.

Your choice from there, but tons of junk yards and I'm sure a couple members of this board can help you out with a good and inexpessive block.
