It only takes two seconds to type "Honda ECU Chipping" in that little Google search box. The first three links are from Phearable and Xenocron which will lead him to all the info he will need.

i have people aiming me every single day asking me questions and im always helping them. i dont have to. i definetly dont have a whole lot of time, but thats how nice i am.....as long as you arent an idiot. for example here, aim MC00EX and ask him. its some guy from some other state i dont even know. he asks me questions every single day for like the past few months.

Ok, we will start with this one chief. Did you really need to him dumb? No, you didnt. It took me all of 10 seconds to point him to 2 different sites to do some research. Hopefully he will bookmark them and refer to them later.

Again, your giving a smart ass answer. I know your not the only one, but its your common theme. Some people get in the habit of saying cams, kinda like people say headers. You know as well as I do that he meant cam. I know the question was vague and needed more info, but what you(and some other people) said did not help at all.

Some people aren't as skilled in googleing or have the same resources as you. Every one starts somewhere and that is no reason to call someone dumb.

Now I am not saying that everything you say is cocky, but it comes out in you from time to time. You do have a lot of good tech, one bad ass car and are one of the few people on here that pioneers new things(CG Tranny thread); I thank you for that. I have just noticed that more than once with some of the guys starting out you tend to be rude or cocky to them. Its hard for them to ask questions if they are just starting out and dont quite know what they are asking. That makes it hard to search for too. The last thing I/we want to do is scare the new people from asking questions and to learn(this might drive them to be an ebay ricer). We all have been asked the dumb question from time to time and want to simply blow them off, but if you give them a push in the correct direction they can learn and grow, then maybe someday help out new people with what they have learned/applied.

I understand you don't have a lot of time. Most of us here work 1 or 2 jobs, and some add school on top of that. I to get people IMing me every day asking tech questions(some from sights i haven been on in quite some time).

and if you type "p28 chip" into google, the first 2 are for cheap ebay style chips.

yes people are harsh on new kids. hazing is in the job. but seriously. i learned everything i knew about sho's probe's mustangs from reading and using the search button on the forums.. its not difficult.

quit catering to this kid and instad of telling us how he is unedicuated, tell HIM that the power of READING is the key..
