axle nut is the spindle nut.

Just take your wheel off and go buy a new one from autozone, impact the old one off if its still on there, and replace it, But dont impact it on, torque it down to specs.

Sounds like he has two broken wheel studs. They are a biotch to change. The easiest way to do would be to shave down the knurl on the new stud to get in without removing the knuckle and pressing out the hub and bearing.

if preludes are like accords then theyre a hub over rotor configuration. youll have to pull the hub (its pressed in) either way to replace the studs. and normally i would replace the wheel bearing once you have the hub off. instead of taking the whole damn knuckle off i always took the hub off with a slide hammer and hub attatchment. you can rent them for free at any auto parts store. takes like 5 seconds to get the hub off.

Amen to that. Will the bearing race stay on the hub like it does newer hondas? If so, thats a pain in the dick as weel to get off.

for reference preludes are rotor over hub and not hub over rotor like the accords... which is why I will someday do a conversion to prelude 11" rotor over hub brake setup. hub over rotor makes anything you do in this regard more involving of a project.

thats what i was thinking i remembered preludes being but wasnt for sure. but either way the hub has to come off like i said.

and yes the accords are a royal pain in the ass just to change a rotor and pads. kinda stupid why honda did that to just those accords or why they did it at all.

To replace teh studds the right way you have to pop out the wheel bearing.
