can my 14b be tuned to run 5psi when the internal wastegate is 12psi?
were do i find a mounting plate from my hf manifold to my turbo?
do i need to use the o2 housing on the hf manifold or can i plug it and incorperate the o2 in my downpipe when fabricating it?

Was there really a need to make two threads?jdmjerry07;116817 wrote:can my 14b be tuned to run 5psi when the internal wastegate is 12psi?

Anyway, I answered your first question in your original thread.
Heres where you can get an adaptor plate for the 14B turbo using the HF manifold. BMC makes good stuff.

Personally, I would use an O2 bung plug or an old O2 sensor to plug the bung in the HF manifold and weld a new bung in your downpipe for your O2 sensor.

whatever your wastegate spring is, is the lowest psi you can run. more than likely if you just want to run 5psi, you'll either have to mount/find a stock actuator of another turbo car that runs 5psi. or you could get rid of the internal wastegate and run an external one. that way you would only have to swap out spring rates or use a manual or electronic boost controller to raise the psi level.jdmjerry07;116817 wrote:can my 14b be tuned to run 5psi when the internal wastegate is 12psi?
