engine wire harness

Post by IshbOO »

i have a question. The engine harness in my new jdm teg is for an ls vtec. there is a vtec solenoid still hooked on and such.

I have an b18b goin into this car, is it suggested to replace the entire wire harness? It seems kinda messy anyway, thinking about taking everything out of the bay and redoing it all after a good cleaning. would it cost more to install a whole new engine harness?

And where the harness hooks to the ecu, looks like the previous owner did some snip and tape jobs on it. Is this part of the engine harness?

I have all the parts n such, just might have someone do the swap for me, and want to make everything easier for them.

It would help if you could give us some more details on the cars. What year and trim Integras and/or engines are we talking about?

No, the harness that hooks to the ECU is not part of the engine harness. It may have been "sniped and taped" due to the car having some kind of piggyback engine management, like a V-AFC hack.
