I have a d16z6 that is supercharged. I finially have everything together and cant get it to start.
Its a timing issue, and we just cant get it in time. Jeremy and i fucked with it for like 4 hours yesterday and nothing. We put it at top dead center like 3 times, but it must be out 180 or on the exhaust stroke when its on the intake stroke.
Keep in mind i know nothing about timing, other than what we messed with yesterday.
I know someone on this board could get this thing started in like 20 minutes, but i just havent messed with timing enough to know what im doing.
If anyone would like to come out to my house and give it a try feel free. I get off work around 5
My number is 314 496 8525

D16z6 timing help
take the #1 cylinder to tdc and make sure the cam is positioned to have the valves closed on that cylinder, postistion the dizzy to the terminal to which fires that cylinder. Then you are in timing. That should help on the timing issue. Hope it fires up.
