How am I being immature?

Was I ever hostile or aggressive? Did I swear in any of my posts? Enlighten me.

I think you are trying to help out Stephanie and I think Stephanie is a big girl and doesn't need you to 'save' her. In fact this thread has turned into a good conversation. I tried to make my point and Stephanie has done the same. She acknowledged what I was trying to say and I've acknowledged hers.

But hey, if you want, I can be a dick too.

You also have to remember some speedos aren't calibrated perfectly from the factory, so when you think you may be doing 60 you might actually be doing 58mph,
That's a good point... even the RPM gauge tends to be off by 500 rpms in my experience.

Camber kits are a bad idea for the Prelude too since all of them make a ton of noise and some are known to hit against the top of the chassis and piece a hole hitting the hood. But what 5th base Prelude owners can do is use front SH upper control arms to get another 1.5 degrees of camber back... you'll just need to get another alignment since it also toes your wheels way out (does it start to sound like I know what I'm talking about yet. ;)).

Personally, I done my share of lowering springs and suspension swap on 5th gen Preludes and I used to run on H&R Sport Springs (1.4" drop) with stock springs so I have first hand experience. My Prelude now has Tein HA coilvers which are pretty decent for the track but I plan to have them revalved during the winter to be used with higher spring rates.

Just curious but how do you know you speedometer is reading correctly? Your gearing is currently off by 3.4% which mean if you are doing 60mph, you are actually doing 62mph. It's not a huge deal but unless you were clocked by a calibrated radar gun or driving next to someone else who was doing 60mph (static), you wouldn't know that you were actually off.

i dont think 'keith' who deff. wants us to know who he is by signing off in every post, knows that bill has an EP3, not a BB6. stick to your own topic. im super impressed with your insight, however im done with it, it was a good joke to start out, haha your car isnt lowered ha ha. any way to continue helping out the kid who started this thread...

i have a civic hatch, skunk 2 springs on tokico hp struts, if i was you i would steer wayyy clear of the HP's theyre known to blow out and theyre soft from the get go, but if you want a nice ride, there ya go. the springs are great for if you want a slammed ass car, like i did at the begining, then i swiched directions and got into autocross, now i wouldnt recommend anything but full coilovers.

my 93 prelude had H&R race springs with stock struts and as far as i can remember it handled great.

Anyone who knows me knows that I always reply back with a thread with my name...

Who's Bill? And you are giving me crap about not trying to help out the 'kid' who is looking for advice on lowering springs? How does it help to rave using camber plates when they aren't available for the Prelude? You'll get this 'kid' all excited about adjustable camber plates to find out they aren't available for his chassis... so sorry for clarifying that.

I'm glad you are done with my 'insight' but who asked you if you were super impressed? Personally I don't care if you are impressed or not.... I'll sleep just fine either way. :)

Nah, then I wouldn't get a chance to 'impress' people like you... ;)

Besides, why are you so worried where I post? If I bother YOU so much, ignore me.

And what does 'all like me' mean? Care to elaborate?
