So what are you still complaining about? Got some thin skin I take it eh Stephanie?

Actually no I dont, you are trying to prove a point which is fine but you keep assuming things, assuming I had a 205.50.16 tire on the stock prelude wheel was wrong actually. so in theory, the gap for the s2000 wheels and the prelude wheels is the same. If I had tread on my prelude wheels it would have been the same gap as the s2000 wheels. :PDT_nail:

My speedometer isnt off at all either. Guess I got lucky

It has to do with the tire you are using.... Not the wheels.

Let's recap for a minute or two:

- I made a joke about you not being lowered... Joke is identified by ':p'
- You post pictures of your car on S2000 wheels proving that the gap is 2 (small) fingers in height. I can't see what tires you are using with the S2000 wheels. But if you are using 205 50 16 with a staggered set of S2000 wheels then, yeah, your overall stock diameter of your tire remains stock which should be 24.1"... But mind you then 2 of your wheels/tires would be pretty screwed up since you shouldn't be trying to fit a 205 tire on a 7.5" rim (rears are 16" x 7.5")... not to mention the centerbore of the front S2000 wheels is wrong for the Prelude which means they are not hubcentric. Anyway, my point was IF (read again, IF), you are using the stock S2000 tire, your overall diameter of the tire would be 24.9" which is .8" too much which would take up more of the wheel gap.
- I post 2 pictures of a stock Prelude SH (from Honda) and 2 pictures that you previously posted on the STLPC with your stock SH wheels and said "Is it lowered? Yes of course... " Read it again Stephanie...

I said IF you were using a 205 55 16/255 50 16 tire on WHATEVER wheel (S2000 or Prelude) then your diameter would be larger than stock.

Let's keep this going... this is fun. :)

All 4 ofthe s2000 wheels are STOCK FRONT s2000 wheels. On the prelude tires I was rolling on a 205/55/16 and the s2000 wheels are also 205/55/16. So in height it would be the same. So by looking at the s2000 wheel with the 2 finger gap would be the same as my prelude wheels with the 2 finger gap.

What im trying to say is that you said a 2 finger gap is a good drop, which my car has AND HAD. You were saying my car doesnt look lowered but clearly in the picture there was a 2 finger gap, I was just confused by you saying my car doesnt appear to be lowered. Shadows do happen in pictures.

Ok, not to drag this out much further but if you are using 205 55 16 tires, then you running the wrong tire size for a 5th gen Prelude.

Yeah I know they are supposed to be 205/50/16 but I personally like the taller side wall. And no it hasnt put any affect on my speedo or anything.

NO GAP FTW!!!!!!!! you guys are funny. i like my coilovers because they give the adjustability in aspects, height and dampening. i also love my camber plates, more adjustability, i will NEVER go back to some janky ass springs and struts setup.

Nobody makes camber plates for a Honda Prelude (any generation)... it's too bad. Camber kits are a bad idea for the Prelude too since all of them make a ton of noise and some are known to hit against the top of the chassis and piece a hole hitting the hood. But what 5th base Prelude owners can do is use front SH upper control arms to get another 1.5 degrees of camber back... you'll just need to get another alignment since it also toes your wheels way out (does it start to sound like I know what I'm talking about yet. ;)).

Personally, I done my share of lowering springs and suspension swap on 5th gen Preludes and I used to run on H&R Sport Springs (1.4" drop) with stock springs so I have first hand experience. My Prelude now has Tein HA coilvers which are pretty decent for the track but I plan to have them revalved during the winter to be used with higher spring rates.

Just curious but how do you know you speedometer is reading correctly? Your gearing is currently off by 3.4% which mean if you are doing 60mph, you are actually doing 62mph. It's not a huge deal but unless you were clocked by a calibrated radar gun or driving next to someone else who was doing 60mph (static), you wouldn't know that you were actually off.

I set my cruise control to 70 mph while another stock as a rock prelude set his to 70 mph he stayed at my driver door for about 3 miles on highway 370.

You also have to remember some speedos aren't calibrated perfectly from the factory, so when you think you may be doing 60 you might actually be doing 58mph,
