the p72 ecu is for non vtec? wow i wonder wtf thats about? oh well i think if the cheapest route is to keep a D ill just do that for now and build the one in it now a little at a time

no, a b18b is nonvtec, a p72 IS vtec.

hmm i wonder what that guy was thinkin then, it was in an ad on craigslist, i guess its someone that dont know what they are talkin about lol, scratch that from the list of possibilities.....

anyone have or know where i could just find a D short block hopefully still good no work needed

i have the ecu from my old 97 EX which was the d16y8. i also have the engine at my house but the top end is no good. something in the valves is messed up and its been sitting outside with no valve cover fora few months. im supposed to take it to the junkyard as a core since they wanted one when i bought the b18 thats in my car i just havent taken it back yet. but make pm an offer if your interested

A p72 ecu is for a 94-01 Integra GSR..... VTEC

yeah if you got that swap you would need a p75. thats the one for the non vtec b18b

there is an 00 EX at one of the junkyards down here with a complete y8 in it. the yard is called Taylors.
